MR.Hung Bar Restaurant

Wonderful place to stay and eat! The owner organised an amazing trip on Ha Giang loop for me. His place is also nice to stay in.

I stayed with Mr Hung before doing the Hà Giang loop. The accommodation was great and the food was amazing. The restaurant offers both Western and Vietnamese food, and the atmosphere is great for dining. The music is calming and there are nice fairy lights to lighten the mood.nnI would recommend Mr Hung's for anyone wanting to get some food before starting the loop or to stay before or afterwards.

Thought I would never say this, but go for the Western food in this place in stead of the local food. The lasagna was decent but the chicken with vegetables was tasteless. It was not more than a bunch of morning glory with so much water, it looked more like a soup. No other vegetables, no rice, and you pay 160k for this plate.nnPaid 390 for two mains and two soft drinks.nnFor this amount of money you can eat extremely good Vietnamese food elsewhere. Again; the lasagna was ok, so I suggest sticking to the pastas.

The beer was good, but the pizza had no flavour whatsoever. It is a far cry of what is supposed to be. Even a one star is too much. Without having many customers the atmosphere is cold and without color. It could be anywhere in the world. The staff is nice and helpful.

Came here because of the good reviews and was very disappointed. Overpriced and pretty tasteless food.nnPeople giving this place 5 stars and arguing that the lasagne is better than in Italy are clearly out of their mind and should not be allowed to leave reviews.
