Although you can't see the waterfall like it shows on my photo from the drone, the village and rice terraces are simply magnificent. And so close to Ha Giang city, it's simply a must visit.

PLEASE READ THIS FOR YOUR OWN SAFETY!!nI visited this place early December with my friend. We approached the cabin to the left of the waterfall (called “ HA THANH WATERFALL” to ask if they sell any food and they didn’t so we began to leave.nBecause I spoke Vietnamese I could understand what he was saying and he made a phone call to his friends and his plan was to kidnap me.nMy friend and I started freaking out so we quickly left the area but this man began to FOLLOW us while still on the phone and kept trying to talk to us to get us to stay.nIf you’re travelling here, especially if you’re a girl, PLEASE BE VERY CAREFUL because kidnapping is still very common here. Even if I reported it to the police they would not do anything so please stay safe because they have a very large group.nLuckily I was filming the scenery and I got him in the video so please watch out for this man.nStay safe everyone.

Approximately 20 minutes drive from Ha Giang city, nice small hotel.nNot far from waterfall you can explore the village, observe the local life.

Really beautiful and fun! A small area to sit down at if you don’t choose to stay on the huge rocks. Fun to swim in and gives you a bit of a challenge to get up all the three ”levels” of waterfalls.

Waterfall was a nice and easy 15 minute ride outside of town. Roads are in good condition and relatively easy to find if you use google maps. You have to pay to park in front of a house, we paid 5,000 for 2 bikes. There is a short walk to the waterfall, maybe 5 minutes. We were there in the dry season so make sure you have good enough shoes to hop over some boulders but it’s not too difficult. Water seemed a bit dirty so we didn’t end up going in but this seems to be the spot in town to go for a swim.
