Dong Van Viewpoint - French Fort

Do not try and take a bike up. Some washouts and very steep narrow conditions. Absolutely lovely but steep hike to a rewarding series of battlements giving a commanding view of the valley.

Awesome and steep drive up here! Just follow google maps all the way up. Incredible views from here. You also can climb down to the big letters. But it looks like they’re building here a new resort or Homestay. So we’ll see, how long it will be oben and free.

Great views, well worth the short climb.nnHowever, somebody has started to build what looks like it could be a hotel just beneath the summit.nnShame, more nature gets destroyed in the name of money.

4-star because they are building a home stay or something up here, it’s sad that the ruins aren’t being preserved because they are super cool. Sad history ofc. Recommend going up for sunrise. You can take ur bike all the way up, some people said it was “pretty steep” only if ur an amateur.
