Beautifully set in a dream garden with trees and ponds, clean, quiet, relaxing! The perfect place to stay!nTwo traditional houses on pillars looking over hills covered in jungle; butterflies swirling around the whole compound.nnAnd then there is Trang, so friendly and unhurried, helping you with everything you might need, from buses to laundry over vegan and vegetarian meals or you just ask! Her English is perfect.

Very nice family that cooks a wonderful meal for dinner. In a quiet neighbourhood outside Ha Giang but it was nice not to hear honking all night. Some small private rooms and a nice large room for shared accommodation. Ping Pong table and cold beer one site. Pancakes (crepe style) for breakfast was also good.

Recently completed a month of travel through Vietnam and Thailand. We stayed here as a base camp for short motorcycle trips into the adjacent mountains. The hosts are exceedingly gracious and accommodating - the main host does speak English (in contrast to prior comments). They will make mind-numbingly good meals for you (if you're around), call ahead to arrange any travel plans for you (motorcycle rentals/pickup), and generally open their home to you in every conceivable manner. They do have a self-serve beer fridge as well (next to the ping-pong table), thought I'd throw that gem out there. It is also worth mentioning that their property is beautiful, and sort of difficult to leave every day. The road to town is a short and enjoyable ride where one of the first buildings you encounter is a small store with travel supplies and snacks - great place to stock up on shampoo packets. Without laboring on all the amazing details, this is a three-generation household (with loads of adopted cats) that you get to be a part of for a short time where they make you feel a part of their family. I miss this location far-and-above the countless other places I've visited on this trip between the two countries.
