Lung Cu Flag Point

It's a man-made structure, the drive to the flag point is fun! The flag pole itself is not really stunning...you should go there to and enjoy the drive up there..and to pay 10k to go up is not too bad.the view is okay...not really interesting in my opinion.

The ride to get to Lung Cu is stunning. It has done of the best landscapes in all of Ha Giang. Lung Cu itself though is an awful place. The entire village is under construction and everything looks and sounds terrible. The novelty of being in the northern-most part of Vietnam is ok, but the views are spoiled by the construction. It's worth going to only because of the gorgeous road to get there.

At first kind of meh but if you come when it's not busy it's nice to hang out on the top of the tower for a while when the sun's setting. If you're lucky the wind will die down and give you a chance to catch the flag for a cool photo op. The road here is easily done on motorbike, no need to book a tour. Entry is 25k per person. Otherwise probably pretty disappointing if it's busy.

The north pole of Vietnam, definitely worth a visit for the views alone from the top. Hundreds of steps so be prepared to climb!
