From the second we stepped out the bus we were greeted with open arms. They offered a free overnight stay and dinner. We got to drink “happy water” (local rice wine) with the family - a perfect way to experience the local culture. The following day we went on a 3 day Ha Giang loop tour, and I am totally speechless still from the amazing views and dramatic landscapes. I highly recommend staying here before going on the Ha Giang loop!
