Cat Tien Farmstay

Firstly I'm very grateful for them allowing me to check in a few hours early when I arrived well before check in time. I was in desperate need of a warm shower and change of clothes after the rain and they were very welcoming.nnBe aware this is a sister property to Jungle Lodge which is the fancy resort with all the facilities.nnThe room was clean and comfortable. Unfortunately no indoor eating places meant I became dinner for flying bugs too. Also worth noting they phone your food order to the sister property who bike it over, not a big deal but means you'll wait an extra 5-10 minutes on top of normal order times in restaurants. Food was still warm and delicious.nnThe bathroom did not match photo on the listing, indeed I had no bath, but it did the job otherwise.nnBecause it's very rural you'll need insect repellent and I met a couple of local critters in my room in the morning, a rather lost frog and a confused snail. Both were easily relocated back outside but not everyone would be happy with this.nnIt's a nice basic private room for reasonable price in the area. If you want something more luxury look at Jungle Lodge or other properties.

Lovely and clean, but basic accommodation. Great settings by the river. Very good value for money and with friendly and helpful staff.

Very nice and zen place to stay and relax

Spacious garden, breakfast with bread and eggs, soya bean milk, tea and coffee. Fresh air, shared bathroom, quite near to the national park, but we hardly slept cause the dogs and chickens.

Amongst the budget stays around Cat Tien National Park, Cat Tien Farm Stay offers a quiet, clean & shaded stay for visitors. Bordered at the back by the Da Huoai River, it has a simple kitchen, a patio for chilling out and bicycles to ride to the park entrance which is about a km away.
