The process of formation and developmentnnIn 1982, some Catholic families from Nghe An came to live in the bordering area between Xuan My and Binh Gia from Lang Minh T-junction. The first time, Catholics attend Mass and receive the sacraments in the church neighborhood as Vinh Trung, Xuan Son, Quang Thanh.nnIn 1984, due to difficulties in traveling, the parishioners gathered in a family in the area to pray and form the Gia Vinh teachings.nnEnd of 1986, Father Peter Nguyen Tin, Quang Thanh parish pastoral guidance and help for this group of parishioners.nnIn 1993, Father Dominic Vu Kim Khanh was appointed caretaker Parish Church pastor Gift and they Gia Vinh. During this time, they enter into the land Teachers Quang Thanh and accepted.n nIn 2005, the Diocese of Ba Ria was established and Gia Vinh moved to Hong An parish, Xuan Loc diocese.
