Green Cat Tien Hotel

The room is clean but that was our only pozitive experience. WE had the worst food in Vietnam in the only restaurant in the park, every staff there is interested only to make their own money. High prices for low quality service.

We staid in the hotel to do the gibbon trek early the next morning (which was amazing, we would totally recommend that!), but we regretted booking a room here immediately. The room was very humid and smelly, kind of dirty and all very old. For this high price (500.000d) we would have expected something nicer, especially because on the other side of the river you can rent a beautiful cabin for half the price. And you have to pay everything extra - breakfast (100.000 for 2), bike rental (30.000 per hour), hiking gear, motorbike parking, etc. In other hostels or homestays (like the ones on the other side of the river) these things are included.nThe only restaurant on the island is overpriced and we got bad half cooked instant noodles.nIn sum, we were very happy to come to the beautiful national park, see the gibbons and also to pay for their preservation, but it makes no sense to stay in the hotel or eat in the restaurant, it's much nicer and cheaper on the other side.nThe whole organization should be improved - it's such a beautiful place but overly expensive and not well kept, and also the people working there were not helpful to give us any information about additional treks, activities etc, so we left early and stayed in another hostel outside the park.

They are terrible, rude and when they dont want to talk they simply say no englishnnI have not stayed in the hotel but even cafe and reception was enough may be one star can be even much.nnA loosen gem this place has good location but at the end in a holiday you need peace which i am sure you would not find.

A bit overpriced compared to other places in Nam cat Tien - not necessary to stay here for any of the park Trek's etc. Only one restaurant on the island so we had to eat dinner here, not really many veggie options and pricey for what we got.

The staff was quite enthusiastic when selling the name tickets, I told 4 people 4 tickets each 1 ticket to go to the ferry station is 60k / 1 ticket, but when the 240k was completed a little bit, the ticket seller told me to pay 60k to tell her This 14-year-old boy is free.nIf you want to go to the south of Cat Tien by private car to find google map, just go to the boat, do not go over the Ta Lai bridge more than 17km but when you go to the south of the first sandy road is the internal road not allowed in, you have to run to the wharf another 17km boat is 34km
