On 19.03.1987, Tin Nghia Church was established under the Thanh Son Parish under the care of Father Thanh Son, Joseph Le Vinh Hien. In the same year, Father Joseph and the Tin Nghia community built a temporary chapel (12m x 30m) with wooden leaves. A year later, Bishop Dominic Nguyen Van Lang raised the Tin Nghia Church to GHBL. In 1994, Father Joseph and the Tin Nghia community built new parishes and churches with solid materials as they are today. In 2002, Bishop Paul Nguyen Minh Nhan separated GHBL Tin Nghia from Gia Kiem and merged with Xuan Loc. Two years later, Bishop Paul brought the Congregation of the Faithful to the Count of GiaKiem and elevated it to the parishion of Tin Nghia and sent Peter Ngo Duy Hoa to the parish. In 2009, Father Thomas Aquino Nguyen Thien Phuoc was in charge of Tin Nghia Parish. Three years later, Fr. Joseph Pham Hoang Vuong succeeded Father Thomas Aquinas. Under the guidance of Fr. Joseph, the parishioners of Tin Nghia parish came to a standstill and the activities of the parish were in place as they are today.
