Joseph Mai Ngoc Khue came to charge the Mission. At that time, about 1,000 parishionersnAround 1947 Bishop Jean Caissaigne of Saigon Diocese changed the mission to Suoi Tre Parish, appointing Fr. Joseph Doan Ngoc San as the First Parish Chief.nnSuoi Tre Church has a unique architecture that can be said. Designed by architect Albert around 1958, designed by architect Mattheu with materials brought from France.nnThe frame of the Church is entirely made of iron with 36 pillars, cast from France. The roof is designed to be arranged into 32 triangles in the winding direction, with absolutely no rafters on the frame of the house.nnThe Church's Ceiling is 3 layers of wooden stars overlapping horizontally and vertically. Connected together by the mounts without using nails or screws to hold the connection. Particularly, when roofing, there will be two screws fastening closely to the wooden piece of the ceiling of the Church. Then 2 ceiling layers next to each other.nnWhen looking from the inside of the Church, we only see layers of wood about 7cm long. Over the last few years, the pieces of wood have been painted in pale yellow.
