Since 1976, because of the need for a new life, everyone found it impossible to develop in a crowded land, so a number of parishioners of Vo Doong Parish along with people from other places migrated and settled. at Vo Duong 3 hamlet, Gia Kiem commune, Thong Nhat district. By the end of 1976, there were about 40 Catholic families living there. They gathered together to form a hamlet together preserving the faith through prayer and prayer. On 10/2/1987, the Hamlet chose St. Vincent as his duty and was called the Vincentian Hamlet. In the same year, the Vincentian Hamlet built a monument to St. Vincent and a chapel to have a place to gather and pray. Three years later, Father John Baotixita Vo Thanh Tung decided to raise the Vincentian Hamlet to a surname of the Vo Doong parish and rename it to the surname of Immaculate Mother. A few years later, the Church restored the chapel, enlarged the length and width, to meet the needs of the community, and built more bell towers. On December 25, 1993, Father Joseph Hoang Duc An celebrated the first Mass at this chapel. Since that day, every Sunday afternoon at the Church of the Congregation of the Immaculate Conception. On May 12, 2013, Bishop Daminh Nguyen Chu Trinh raised the Church of the Immaculate Mother to Catholic Church. A year later, on May 12, Bishop Daminh raised the Blessed Mother Immaculate Conception to parish. Currently, Father Daminh Tran Cong Hien is in charge of the Immaculate Mother Parish.
