The receptionist doesn't know what she was doing. Very rude. Not helpful at all. Doesn't speak English. I wanted to pay in Aus dollars and she doesn't even know the rate. She physically gave me 1/10 th of the value . I asked her to clarify with someone coz that was insane. But she was extremely rude and wasn't willing to clarify even after I showed her on internet the actual rate and the number of digits . There was no one else to talk or ask but only her and doesn't make any sense. I wanted to book a tour but communication was extremely difficult , therefore I booked through a tour place.nPlace was very dirty. Ants running all over the room. Rooms were not clean. Bathroom shower and the sink was leaking. I also saw the stains in duna .Even the bathroom amenities very old bad quality. I didn't use them.nShame I didn't read all the reviews before booking because my this comment is not isolated with other customers comments. Good lesson . I will read the reviews next time first thing.nPool was run down . No body's swimming . Water is in a wired colour. I'm sure no one will book this hotel again soon. Only very few people were there during my stay.nGuys...don't go by those photos ..it's a different world once you get there...

It looks very nice outdoor, the pool, the palms..nOur room was everything else but nice. There were holes in the cieling, the matrace was dirty, the bathroom was dirty and the waterpipes were broken, so your feets got wet when you washed your hands. And that's not what we expected for 20$ per night.

Not a very upscale place, good for a night or 2. The rooms were alright, bathrooms for bigger rooms, however, are open-aired so expect to see a few lizards, mosquitoes and bugs around, it can be extremely annoying if/when they happen to enter the room. The lighting in the bathroom is very dim so you're advised to watch your step. The massage is superb, that's one of the only highlights. Overall, the place is in need of a serious refurbishing.

All around great.nnGreat location: across the street from Jo's cafe who has the best coffee in the area, and good breakfast deals. You can sit on the beach and wine and dine there.nnThere is also a convenience store right next to Jo's.nnGreat swimming pool:nThe swimming pool is big! And never crowded. 95% of the time no one is in there -- there's even a shaded portion.nnGreat staff:nAlways polite, never intrusive. The only mild complaint is the front desk woman wasn't willing to help us with our travel arrangement when we asked for help. (We're niave and were confused so asked for assistance with clarification about our bud and she was sassy about it but yea)nnGreat room for the price:nI loved the room, it felt tropical bungalow-y because of the out door bathroom, but the bed was in doors with a beloved air conditioner. It had a fridge and tv and great outlets.

Amazing if you're on a budget, slightly run down but the pool is beautiful and we loved the room and bathroom
