Buon Ma Thuot, belonging to the Sacred Heart Parish, ascended to the Parish with the name of Chinh Tam Parish and appointed Father John Baotixita Nguyen Ngoc Sang as the Pastor.nn(According to Information of July-2020 by VP TGM)nnufffcnnTEACHERS GIUSEnnJoseph's Church is an isolated family of Sacred Heart Parish, Cathedral District, Diocese of Ban Me Thuot. Currently, the Catholic Church has 730 Catholic families, including 3272 members of the Kinh and Montagnards, led by Father John Baotixita Nguyen Ngoc Sang.nnAfter the Tet Offensive in 1968, 16 Catholic families moved to this land to form a New Xom community under Nga Sau Church (Thanh Tam Parish). In 1972, Father Augustine Nguyen Van Tra, Vicar of the Sacred Heart, came to Mass for the first Sunday evening of the month at the home of Peter Le Van Thoi. He guided the people to live the religion and elected the first Representative Committee.nnIn 1973, people joined hands to build a small chapel, 8m wide and 16m long, on the parcel of land that Mr. and Mrs. Co Phuong offered.nnOn March 19, 1974, the New Xom Community was honored to be encouraged by Bishop Peter Nguyen Huy Mai to visit the pastoral ministry, encouraging the spirit. Since then, the Joseph family was established, directly under the Sacred Heart Parish.nnUp to now, Joseph's Church has passed 09 terms of Representatives. Their parish currently has 12 Stakes and 1 affiliated Buon. There are associations and specialized agencies operating regularly and actively.nnOn October 16, 2013, the Catholic Church started construction of a new church at 118 Y Moan, Tan Loi Ward, Ho Chi Minh City. Buon Ma Thuot. On May 2, 2014, Bishop Vinh Son Nguyen Van Ban, Bishop of the Diocese, performed the rite of placing a building stone.
