Amazing place, and amazing people. The resident elephant carer from Holland is a great host, and all the Vietnamese workers are incredibly welcoming, and kind. So much to do here, fishing, 35 kilometre hiking trail you can complete on foot, bicycle, motorbike, or tractor! There are slso elephants to see, and other activities. The landscape is stunningly peaceful, and beautiful, rain, hail, or shine!

Yok Don national park doesn't feel like its geared up for tourism YET.I'm sure in time it will improve its facilities, tours, accommodation and options . We stayed for 2 nights and the accommodation was very basic and unclean. The Elephant tour was the highlight of my visit and really is worth the visit and the money. My partner went on an overnight camp and was very underwhelmed with the experience. Food was over priced but very tasty. With small quick wins and long term strategies for a rescue center, education program and upgrading accommodation I think Yok Don will be a very different place in time to come.

Lovely place, with all kinds of excursions.. We came here around noon, wich was a bad time for the elephant ride, course it was too hot, so we had to wait a few hours. No matter, they have food, drinks and even guesthouses, all at a cheap price.nBut either come here early morning or around 15.00 or stay a night to really experience the park.. Excursions are cheap as well
