Part 1: The Hunt for Fast FoodnSo… After over a week in Vietnam with rice, rice noodles and pretty much the same food over and over again, I was craving for some fast food. My desire to find a place that would serve me fast food was restless, and I finally took my time to look at Google Maps to find a good looking fast food place. The only fast food chain nearby was a KFC. So, I walked around 2 kilometers to get there and eat some KFC. The arrival to KFC was unpleasant as seeing your best friend making out with your crush. Children were screaming and were noisy and it was like a David Guetta concert in there. I knew I got myself into a bad place when the atmosphere is horrendous. However, seeing a chicken burger of course made me happy, so I ordered the same menu for my brother and me. However, to my surprise they only had one of the chicken burgers left, so my brother had to go with a fish burger. It made me realize that after 2 minutes with a depraved experience already, I was probably in for a disappointment.nOur food was served and the first thing I did was to take a bite from that chicken burger that I have been craving on for so long. It was actually alright even though it was basically only bread, salad, tomato, mayo and the chicken filet. The other thing that came with the menu was like a big round ball of chicken meat. And I was like “hooooold up”, because 6 years ago I had the exact same thing and it was rubbish. I thought to myself “Whatever, new times new taste”. Wrong. My first bite of the chicken my teeth encountered a bone. I thought I was being unlucky and that God wanted to test me, so I tried to bite another place on the chicken ball. Boom, bone again. As a conclusion this chicken tasted dry and horrible however, since I dislike “buckets” from KFC, this made good sense to me. So fair enough, I went on with my French fries. Rubbish. Imagine harvesting the worst potatoes on the field, deep fry them and put them in a little bag. Now imagine no salt on them. It was ten times worse. So a disappointed Tony went away from KFC, with the desire yet to find another place to eat some fast food. I went home and went to bed and prepared myself for a journey the next day.n(Part 2 can be found under my other reviews)
