Ban Gioc Waterfall

I think it's hands down one of the best 3 places in Vietnam, it's just stunning. The road there is super good so it's a very easy drive and 5 km before you have a 1 km long cave. Once there you can spend a chill afternoon, if the weather is nice you can even swim on the falls that are on the vietnamese side.

Amazing waterfall! One of the best place in Vietnam that you definitely must go before it becomes to much touristic. There is some attractions nearby that fit your day there. The waterfall is boundary between Vietnam & China.

It looks smaller in reality. Drone shots make it look more majestic or massive. And we saw how the locals don't really care about the environment. A lady was washing her griller with water from the steam. Another was doing the washing up of plates, cutlery in the stream. They know how to make money out of their natural wonders but never care about the environment. Shame.

How can you not love Asia's biggest waterfall? Epic isn't the word! Staggering doesn't do it justice. It's only a dollar or so to get in. Best thing you'll ever see in Vietnam! It's also the 4th biggest waterfall in the world!ud83dude32

I've been here twice, once in March 2019 and again in March 2021. The difference two years made is that in 2021 it was much busier and more built-up. I have a feeling mass tourism is coming to Ban Gioc so get there before it hits too hard!
