Victoria Can Tho Resort

I have been in this hotel since 2000 yes.. about 21 years... it did not change but look same as original with the best service ever and all the small attention to the guest.. I am very impressed of this hotel and keep on liking to go back.. almost I came back to Cantho to be staying in Victoria.. in nowhere on earth I feel that..

Relaxing, a bit oldish and rooms a bit small. Service is great and food is good. 10 minutes walk along the river to the center of town.

Food taste quite good but they will take ages to come. We finish 2 bottles of both red and white wine of totally diferent kind (because their stella does stock another bottle of that white wine, every kind is just 1 bottle available) and our starter did not come yet. Overall, service is quite attentive and good atmosphere.

A Wonderful Weekend In The Heart Of The Mekong DeltannThe Victoria Can Tho was the perfect escape from the bustling streets of Ho Chi Minh City. Floating markets, thousands of winding canals, an incredible riverside resort and endless relaxation from the comforts of a poolside lounger? That sounded like the perfect way to spend a weekend to me!nnA girls getaway weekend just wouldn’t be complete without a little pool-side relaxation. And a margarita or two. This resort was the perfect place to sit back, relax and soak up all the sun the Mekong had to offer. Right on the banks of the Hau River, the Victoria Can Tho is 4-star comfort among its beautifully constructed Indochine architecture and lush tropical gardens! With all of the touches of Vietnamese design it made the Victoria Can Tho authentic and really connected to the local experiences we had during our stay.nnThe rooms were beautiful, comfortable and clean. They’re air-conditioned with lovely wood furnishing, a seating area, flat-screen TV and minibar. The en suite bathroom also comes with a bathtub, shower and toiletries! Our own private balcony overlooking the beautiful resort below, was definitely a view I could wake up to everyday! Each night a local Vietnamese legend and bedtime treat was waiting for us to read and enjoy before cozying up into our sheets! It was so fun to read our little story each night!nnTucked inside the resort is the incredible Spices Restaurant. We ended up loving the dishes they served up so much we really didn’t see a need to venture out of the resort for every meal. The fungi pasta and sautéed duck with cashew nut were unforgettable and some of the best food I’ve had in a very long time!nnBreakfast, included in our stay, was a tasty buffet spread of fruits, cakes and various hot dishes. There’s an incredible omelette station, a create-your-own-pho bar, endless cereal options, coffee, tea, lattes, freshly squeezed juices and plenty of breads to butter up!nnThe Victoria Can Tho was the perfect weekend getaway under the Mekong sun! With such a warm welcome into the Victoria Can Tho it was a sad and heartfelt goodbye. We truly did not want to leave our fabulous weekend away. The incredibly lovely staff at Victoria Can Tho were exceptionally accommodating, very helpful and made our stay more than perfect. We could not have asked for a better way to spend a weekend outside of Saigon! We will definitely be back again soon! Thank you Victoria!
