Closed! Like every other tourist attraction in Hanoi. Plus a very rude female monk shut the door in my face. No smile. No sorry. Basically.. Go away. Isn't God great? Hihi. Very disappointing.

Very interesting traditional temple with intricate motifs on it’s upper tiers, it’s probably better to go when ceremonies aren’t being held here. What you might miss out on though is a fuller view of the interior deity room, rather than the compound which is easily accessible. That said, you can still acquire a reasonable impression of the altars through the slats when this interior area is closed.
