The Golden Dragon Water Puppet Theater

I went to there 3 times with my friends. This place was near my apartment. So that, I bought the ticket there directly. The water puppet show is very popular. Recommend as a hidden spot for sightseeing in HCMC. In the evening, many tourists come by sightseeing bus.

This is a traditional Vietnamese puppet show performed in water, with live music accompaniment.nThe puppets depict the story from the songs during the show, which reflects the peaceful life of the Vietnamese countryside, so its not difficult to understand whats going on.nThere's a puppet outside the entrance which is good for photo ops ud83dude0d

The movement of the water puppets is magnificent. Very lively and great to watch. The music played by the live band was a great connection to the show. Even though this show is in Vietnamese that didn’t matter because the water puppets and music were more than enough to entertain anyone from the age of 3-99 year old.nThe puppets seem quite simply decorated but it makes it more authentic. The show is 50 minutes and has mini short stories. I would highly recommend watching this show, it is so different and is extremely memorable! You can buy tickets at the box office next to the theatre, they seem to have two showing times of 5pm and 6pm.

Nice, cultural show. One can really see what differentiates the nations :)
