Since being rebuilt, the area of the pagoda has been smaller, so is the main hall. No longer a big pagoda in the past. No more architectures like before. So sad !

This is one of the most visited Buddhist temples in Ho Chi Minh City. Built in the 20th century, this temple has a major unique design with a pagoda style temple. It's very interesting and you must visit it if you around in this area!

Rusty on March 25, 2015nĐại Giác pagoda on Nguyen Van Troi street,Saigon VietnamnMy wife and I were here in the spring to see her family for Tet,the Vietnamese New Year. This is one of many pagodas that are about the city of Saigon.This one gets my attention because of the carved stone mural that covers the entire wall.ufeffOn previous visits I have watched this place being modified and expanded.The result is architecture that is exquisitely done.The methods to build is nothing like we do here in Canada. The scaffolding looks as if will collapse at any moment as it was built with wood pole methods.nBelieve me they do collapse because of the scaffolds own weight with devastating consequences the workers.
