It was the first time in my life that I had Kem Xoi, and It was great. After a long walk the group of volunteers from all parts of the world, reunited in the never ending Thai Binh city to delight some ice cream, me and a couple more of new comers were bing given a tour to the mall and shopping centre that is closest to our housing to find some basic prosucts and more, after a little more than an hour our guid from Costa Rica had us qaling our way back having a most rewarding stop at an ice cream shop, she was rapidly recognized by the owners and the staff of the shop, before we could even realize what was happening, and waaaaay before ww even picked a table or grabbed a seat, we learned that we were having our guide's favourite dessert, KEM XOI, ice cream and this GREENISH sticky rice $7 vnd.
