The total cost for a boat trip was 390k for two persons. The ride itself was really nice - peaceful and picturesque. The day was a bit cloudy so not many people were doing it. You will see three caves on the way. At the end of the last cave, boat turns back and you will face ladies selling different stuff on their boat. One lady grabbed our boat and started to offer different items. We didn’t show interest. Then she pointed to the rowing lady and asked us to get the driver some items. It was quite unpleasant. We got her peanuts since that was the item she offered us to get her. At the end of the trip rowing lady started to say something like “tip for you”. And then “50k for you”. So she wanted a tip. Felt weird since we would have tipped her anyway but with this kind of aggressive approach we totally didn’t feel like it.
Kinda expected more epic views, but overall still ok.
We bought trip by boat. It costs 390k/2 persons. The weather was too bad but nature around us was very beautiful. But we had a very bad experience with driver lady, she wanted to buy some food and drink from another lady which we met and in the end of the trip she wanted some tip. I didnt have a problem give tip to somebody but this was very forcibly.
Cute tour down stream through caves and beautiful scenery. Worth it!nnJust be on your marks about tips! When we tipped 35% of the boat ticket, which we thought was okay after consulting people around us about how much to tip, the boat lady complained that she wanted more.nFirst time anyone in Vietnam has asked us for tips and moreover first time anyone has complained about getting a tip of 35%.
Calm river ride in an impressive environment. The low roofed caves add a a lot of exiting change of scenery. This place is also not as cramped with tourists as the main stream river ride. Our rower was helpful and asked to make pictures of us at several times.
