Ninh Binh is a must visit if you are in Vietnam. And Tam Coc is one of the signature places in Ninh Binh. People usually prefer famous places like Hanoi, Ha Long, Ho chi Minh or Da Nang, but usually don't know about Ninh Binh.

Wow to the power of Wow!!! This place is sensational, beautiful, stunning and a whole host of other positive adjectives! Tam Coc is one of the places often featured when people Google search for beautiful places in Vietnam and rightly so. You can easily book a hotel in this area and hire a scooter to get around all the main sites. You won't regret it!

We cycled around and had a good boat trip. Views are amazing. You can easily spend a couple of hours looking at the nice views. Highly recommended if you have a day to spare in Hanoi. The boat trip will take about an hour and it is hard work for the rowers. They appreciate a tip at the end. Some of the photos do not do justice to this place. You have to be there and see it and appreciate how beautiful the place is.
