Ninh Binh Railway Station

Passengers will/ not have difficulties to find their designated tracks if they follow the instructions/ directions. But, overall, the place is clean and organized.

No problems when I was there for a train to Hanoi. Booked a ticket for the train at 9.26am but there were only sleeping seats available, so we had to book one for 148k, normal seats are 90k. It came exactly in time and didn’t see scammers. But be aware of it like other people say and only listen to the official calls in English or ask at the Ticket Counter.

The train station is small. Nothing to be afraid. Really easy to catch the train.

Be careful of a common scam that takes place here. A lady will approach you telling you the train is delayed and that she will provide you with a refund and put you on a bus to Hanoi. She has no uniform and no ID. I suspect the ‘bus’ will either never arrive or will be an extortionate price. Listen to the announcements at the station, they are in English. The staff should do something about this lady, I can imagine she has convinced some gullible travellers before.

It's a station pretty simple until you get outside and you get hassled by taxi drivers not a good start to the place but lucky enough that was it. The place is next level once your out of the city.
