Brick Coffee Shop

This coffee is charming like its owner. The decoration is both modern and cozy. It’s hard to find a place like this in Ninh Binh.nnThe owner is very friendly and easygoing. One star off for very limited selection and the drinks are average. If he use higher quality coffee and cocoa powder, he would earn 5 stars from me.

Very nice little coffee shop, it's definitely worth it to cycle a few hundred meters from the centre of Tam Coc. They only have drinks available at the moment (October 2020), no cakes.

Amazing little coffee shop. The owner was so warm and welcoming. Egg coffee was perfect and creamy. We also had a carrot cake which was so delicious! We caught him baking more cakes when we paid so he makes them fresh everyday! Well worth the short walk from the main strip. We will be returning again during our stay.

What can I say that hasn’t already been said about this place? In short, it’s excellent. The owner and his family are lovely. The cafe is charming and rustic. The cakes are baked fresh daily by the owner and we couldn’t decide on which one so we just got both (carrot & banana). We ordered the hot egg coffee and I finally know what all the fuss is about. It was amazing! We’re coming back again tomorrow with the same order. It’s a few minutes cycle outside the main area and well worth the ‘trip’. Highly recommended!!!

Walking as far out as this place is, I started thinking ‘maybe this is just where the tour buses stop’. However, this did not prove true and we arrived at a really cute, modern coffee shop. The egg coffee I ordered was the best I have had in my time in Vietnam! The carrot cake was also done to perfection! Highly recommend a stop here!
