We went here for a quick dinner, as it was very close to our hostel. The owner / staff were very welcoming and despite the language barrier, they were very keen to communicate via google translate and their known english. The food was simple, but homestyle cooked - veggies and beef, and rice. The power ended up going out (area wide) and the woman brought us out a candle and complimentary mango for the trouble. Overall a simple and quaint vietnamese dinner with very friendly people. :)
