We arrived by bicycle and had to leave it in the garage. The bicycles are really expensive touring bikes from Europe, usually we are allowed to take them into the room. Luckily we could look them to a big pipe as under the eyes of the security guy, one of our bicycle helmets was stolen. A helmet, in a country like Vietnam where nobody wears helmets... Of course, the staff lost their little English skills when we wanted to discuss and nobody could check the security cams. Stealing staff is a no go in a Hotel and if the security guy cannot protect guest property, he is valueless and should be fired...

Room was big, clean and warm, necessary to dry out our clothes after a week of rain.nAte in the restuarant and got food poisoning. We ate street food before and after that. The only place we suffered while travelling from Hanoi to Saigon.
