Vietnam National Fine Arts Museum

A very good Arts museum. A 'must visit' if you like art - and history. There are a wide range of sculptures, lacquer work and paintings on silk and canvas.nnHardly anyone visits here, as other reviewers point out. I can't understand it.nnRather old fashioned in its layout, but easy to follow and just enough information in English.nnEntrance fee is just over £1, a real bargain for such a museum/gallery

Huge place. The oldest parts I liked the most. You could visit many times because there is so much to see.

Soooo adorable place! Staff speaks English. Super friendly. Nice to walk and enjoy perfect masterpieces in art, ceramics etc. If you are a foreigner- you must visit it!

It’s the best museum of its type in the city. They have a gallery with changing exhibits that is worth visiting periodically.

Perfect museum! Especially perfect on a hot day and if you want to do something relaxing, knowledgeable, fun and see some beautiful art. The first building has three floors available to view and the second building has four floors but there isn’t something on each floor. The basement area of the second building has pottery which is beautiful, then the top floor has authentic, tribal clothing and artifacts (it is a bit warmer in this building and on the top level but it’s worth seeing!) The first building is next to the ticket area (there is a gift shop inside) which is past the little coffee stand; this building has beautiful collections of paintings across different eras, oil paintings, statues and just amazing things. Spend time just relaxing and walking through- it’s a perfect activity and museum for anyone; solo, family or friends!nnFollow @travelingypsey on Instagram & TripAdvisor!
