Emirates Airline Hanoi

I am changing the 5 star rating because the staff lost me a HUGE amount of money when I had to leave a bag behind as I was about to board a flight out of Vietnam during Covid times... I am disabled and wear two braces which I removed and put into my hand luggage because I was under the allotted weight. I also took the kidney belt with my jewellery which was 3kg and put it all into one... I had a note with my weight allowance from the person at the counter... 2x23kg luggage and 15kg hand luggage.nWhen checking in the gentleman was fine but of course I had my braces on my arm and neck and my body belt around my body.nThere was nobody coming to even check up on me before the flight entering so with 10 minutes in a very dark area I was told to choose what to take and leave a bag... I could not afford not to make the flight as it cost me a lot extra for luggage and also because they are the only ones flying at the time. I was devastated when I got to Ireland... Some jewellery and gifts and tech was in the bag I was forced to leave... So I bought all that extra luggage but they were also devious and kept the letter which had the weight on in black and white on an Emirates letter... Why ud83dude2dud83dude2dud83dude2dud83dude2dud83dude2dud83dude2dud83dude2dud83dude2dud83dude2dud83dude2dud83dude2dud83dude2dud83dude2dud83dude2dud83dude2dud83dude2dud83dude2dud83dude2dud83dude2dnI spent two years teaching Vietnamese children as a volunteer but these young Vietnamese people were devious and clearly thought I was a white American woman with a lot of money... They could not have harmed anyone more .. tech with the photographs of my time in Russia and Korea and Vietnam was all left behind. My new clothes, my laptop bag, and books I was given by the children I taught are only a few if the things they stole from me.nI will never fly Emirates again. They are thieves and the staff are deviants.

Friendly and very helpful. 10th floor West tower. We had a pleasant chat and sorted out my flight. Warned of Covid testing requirement of which I was unaware. Glad I went in person !

TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE.nnI called to ask for a contact of Emirates SkyCargo Office in Hanoi because I could not contact them. The lady answering the phone was very rude! She showed attitude to me and said she is not in the same office with SkyCargo (which I'm totally aware of). Since we all under Emirates, I expected everyone to be more professional than this.

Not easy to access. But very professional, very nice service we do not expect in Vietnam
