Newly offered in 10/2018nHoang Nguyen Parish is now located in Tri Thuy Commune, Phu Xuyen District, Hanoi. Parishes are mentioned much in the history of the Hanoi area, especially in the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries. Many of the missionaries of the Paris Missionary Society came to Hoang Nguyen to study Vietnamese when they first arrived in Vietnam, because there was a Seminary. The seminary campus was built neatly in the late nineteenth century including a chapel for seminarians and churches for the parish. The seminary was closed in 1949.
