New church built bell tower, beautiful. History of Tan Phu parishnTan Phu was established in 1957 by Father Dominic Tran Ngoc Trac.nAt first he bought land to set up churches, open schools, normal activities.nIn 1961, due to livelihood, his father moved to another place. At this time, only about 30 families remained. They were maintained together with Fr. Louis Tran Cong Hoan and rebuilt the church. After the war was destroyed, the Father can not stay, just visit and celebrate the Mass as Father John Oai, Father Dominic. In 1968, the church collapsed in part, and scattered in many places.nAfter 1975, the priest slowly returned, Father Jerome Deng Cao Bang in charge. Then Father Gioakim replaced Do Duy Thuan and rebuilt the church in 1999. nThe number of parishioners currently consists of 73 families of 5 and 7 members of the Congregation.
