Mausoleum of Emperor Minh Mang

It’s a more quiet tourist attraction to compare with others and still maintain its old charm. Not being modified by the renovations over the years. The maintainance of the pond could be improved though.

A very beautiful historical place. You should learn the story of this King, it's just fantastic.nBut even if you are not interested in history, the tomb is green, tranquil, and totally worthy a long walk. Photos here are stunning as well.

Very calm and serene. The lake is pretty and the buildings are too. It is nice to walk around and decompress.

I love the implied meaning behind the design details, such as the meaning of the lake which is free form instead of strict symmetrical geometries in the citadel ( it means when you die, you let go of everything). Spend a morning there to get all the knowledge about a glorious times of the old Vietnam and you have stories to bring home to friends and family. However, the route from the heart of the city to this place is quite dangerous on the highway and the nature is so grandeur that I am lost.

I felt this tomb is just fine compared to others tombs in Hue. But the history of the king is very great to learn.
