History of Trung Hau ParishnnTrung Hau Catholic Church belongs to Chinh Dioc Parish, located in Nghi Hoa commune, Nghi Loc district, Nghe An province. Founded in 1629, with several families following the religion and forming the Ke Gom parish. Under the Nguyen kings, many Christians were heavily persecuted, so this place was considered a safe haven for missionaries, pastors as well as many parishioners being persecuted. . In 1842, after St. Peter Hoang Khanh's father was decapitated, some of the seniors in the Christian family took him here to bury him. Since then, the name of Ke Gom has been changed to Trung Hau sect. Trung Hau now has more than 470 households with more than 1,870 on behalf.
