I had intended to only stay 1 night, but ended up staying 3 nights and wanting much more. The room was very nicely furnished with padded chairs which could also be taken out onto the balcony. The balcony overlooked a lovely, quiet tree-lined street. The front-facing wall was all glass so when not on the balcony and with the balcony door open, it felt like the bedroom was outside. The bed mattress was very comfortable and equipped with good quality linen. The wifi was quite good and the tv had sufficient English channels. To top it off, the bathroom had a tremendous bathtub which in itself made my stay magnificent! Additionally, the restaurant provided very tasty food. Sometimes, you just have to treat yourself to something nice - I recommend that you do it there!

Good basic hotel. Staff was very helpful. Clean rooms. Only no hot water when we were there. I guess good value for what you pay for and if your a bit flexible in your expectations. Ask for the rooms on higher floors on the backside...they have great view.

This place is the bees knees! You get a lot for what you pay for, all the staff are super friendly and genuinely interested in you. The main guy (whose name I forget) will hook you up with some Vietnamese tea outside and want to learn English from you.nHotel also offers great deals on motorbike rentals, offers bus/train tickets. Top spot, would recommend.

Stayed at Cong Fu Hotel, while visiting the Bac Ha Sunday market, operated by the local tribes. Hotel is just some 200m away from the market and there are many food centers near hotel.nA clean, cosy hotel with polite staff. An English speaking receptionist too. Strongly recommended to stay at Cong Fu Hotel while at Bac Ha.
