Fantastic one day trek with experienced guide, Pam. She was extremely knowledgeable and spoke English well. It was a moderate walk for an unfit person like myself, into and out of the valley to see three local villages. Well worth the effort as the rice terrace views were spectacular. We had local lunch at a local village home and were transported back to Sapa town in a van.nSapa Sisters is a professionally run operation that was very accommodating when we needed to postpone the trek due to illness. My favourite activity in Sapa by far, recommended and be sure to wear sturdy walking shoes.

Originally, we had booked a a 3 day trekking adventure with Sa Pa Sisters back in March of 2020. COVID 19 changed those plans, but because Vietnam was able to prevent the community spread of the virus and we were still living in Hanoi when the travel restrictions were lifted in June of 2020, we were able to resume our plans. We could not have been happier. Our guide Ker picked us up at our hotel the morning of our first day and we hiked out of town. The scenery was fantastic with the rice paddies all lush and green. Since the borders to Vietnam were shut down to foreigners at the time of our trek, there was very little traffic on the trails. At times the trekking was moderately difficult which was great, and it was always beautiful and intoxicating. Our guide was very flexible and let my wife and I choose our own adventure. The home-stay was also charming. The family was a delight with lots of real coffee and yummy food. We were not able to maintain a vegan diet, but vegetarian was not an issue at all. The view from the home-stay was wonderful. We couldn't recommend Sa Pa Sisters any higher. They were also easy to communicate with. They were quick to refund our payment when COVID 19 struck down our first attempt at the trip and they were very helpful in assisting with the reboot including transportation from Hanoi. Simply fantastic.

Great day hike through the rice paddies, towns and mountains. Our guide was great at answering questions and had strong English skills. We opted to go through Cat Cat Village and even though it was recommended we enjoyed it. Was a bit touristy but still cute and interesting. Three local women followed us all day and sold us their goods at the end, it's a bit annoying but they were also helpful through the mud and we bought a couple things. There's not much the guide can do about them though, it's their town! We also ran into a few other groups on the walk and it was pretty quiet overall for us so expect to see lots of other westerners. The lunch at the locals home at the end was fantastic and we loved the food and homemade rice wine! One of the best meals we had in Sapa. Only big complaint was that the tour is a little overpriced.

Fantastic guide. We had Sy who was absolutely wonderful during the entire 2 day trek. She gave us insight in the culture and provided much needed help during the hike up the mountain. I highly recommend this company as they support the local community.
