This is a tragic work in the military history of the ARVN.nnThe hero, the late Colonel Nguyen Dinh Bao, formerly Lieutenant Colonel of 11th Battalion Airborne, died in the battle on 12 April 1972 atop Charlie in Kontum province II tactical in the Summer Red Fire Battle of 1972. Was promoted Colonel level after the battle.
