In 1990, Kon Tum prison was recognized as a national cultural and historical relic.nAccording to the People's Committee of Kon Tum province, in order to build and renovate this relic site in June 2010, the province separated Kon Tum Prison from Kon Tum museum, built this relic into an independent area of ​​about 4 hectares. . The items in this historic area include: Beer house, victory monument, two tombs of martyrs buried in the fight of the hunger strike and Luu Han, the mound of soldiers at the prison prison across the Dak Bla River ... are completely repaired and renovated. Kon Tum has become a very proud symbol of Kom Tum in particular and Vietnam in general, becoming a historical sights of many Vietnamese and international tourists.
