Amazing. Didn’t have the chance to explore its caves yet, but excited by its outstanding view against the sorrounding as well as its significance in the geo-history of the region

Great volcano to explore. The climb is easy and once you get to the top, you will get a view of a lush jungle inside the crater. Mind that there is no official path and you might need to walk through some rough corn fields.nThere are a few forrester's paths going down to the bottom of the crater.nThe entrances to the volcanic tunnel caves are around the volcano in the surrounding corn fields. Look for the green oase's.

The real volcano in Vietnam! True, long ago, extinct and very difficult to access. But the biggest disappointment is the caves, which we could not find. The main thing is that there is a sign near the road, and when you come closer to the volcano, there is nothing, go wherever you want, you won’t find it anyway. In general, we walked around and did not find the cave; maybe someone will tell you where to look for these damn caves? ud83dude09

A large area without forests, indigenous people (ethnic minorities) cultivate crops in this area. In the dry season, the very thin soil surface is mainly volcanic and so volcanic rocks that cannot hold water, making the landscape around the area look like savan, with only trees on the old crater. Caves are often difficult to find, and some are dangerous to enter.nThe road to the volcanic area and the cave from the district is quite convenient but there is a long section of gravel roads that are difficult to travel. From the command house to the volcano there is a lot of household waste.nEthnic minorities often take tourists to find entrance to the shops, but if you need to, you should negotiate the price first because they then charge very high. Directions or leading you to the door of the cave can cost up to 500,000. There are some who pay up to 1 million for a visit to the cave. There were no toll booths or ticket sales, once I went to an ethnic group who insisted on carrying my backpack and asked me to guide me even though I didn't want to, and then he talked about the compensation for that. is 500,000, I said I had no money, he immediately stopped and dropped my backpack.nIn the caves there are a few caves that are dangerous from nature like snakes, falling rocks. Larger caves often have rubbish by tourists and on the ground are indigenous people's waste
