Organizing the implementation of international cooperation activities within the ambit of their tasks and powers and the provisions of law; Collaborating with localities and local Ranger Sections to propagate, mobilize and guide people in localities to participate in forest management, protection and development; inspecting, detecting and coordinating the handling of violations in forest management and protection in their respective localities according to the provisions of law; To implement the policy on payment for forest environment services and lease of forest environment in order to preserve and develop the Sâm Ngọc Linh root sources and precious medicinal plants in the allocated forest land; To receive, associate and cooperate in organizing the implementation of forestry investment projects, scientific research, agricultural and forestry extension work; To make periodical or extraordinary reports at the request of the concerned State bodies; To effectively manage and use sources of funds, assets and payrolls assigned by the State to perform forest management, protection and development tasks.
