No major issues. Open 7 days a week. Prices listed for international. Slow and airmail available although only 500,000 more for 2-3 months faster. Lady spoke limited English but helped with forms and wrapped my box with tape like a pro. Box free. Price examples listed. Cash only although I saw credit card machine behind desk.... Update. Paid for fast service, but came 1 month late. However, looks like it was a USA issue and the holidays. No issues with goods after arriving.

You can buy stamps and send post cards here.nThe postage to Asia is 15k.nnHowever, it seems that there is no queue in the post office...people always cut in the line...nSo just ask the staffs anytime if you don't want to stand there and wait for them forever...

The process to send international parcels was drawn out in comparison to other SE Asian countries. Considering Vietnam is more progressed in many ways, the inefficiency of their postal system is surprising.nIn particular, the customs officer at this branch had no idea what food could and could not be sent to Australia. She said none of my food could be sent. I told her I was certain everything could because I have sent food to Australia from at least six different countries by now. When I brought up the Australian customs list of approved food (which all of my items were listed on)--and though she'd spoken perfect English until that point--suddenly she professed not to understand.nHer response was likely because there were others in hearing distance, I don't know. But I did reassure her that I just wanted her to learn for the next customer sending to Australia.nShe didn't wish to, unfortunately.nOther offices may be better than this one, but I don't recommend foreigners go here for anything other than stamps because of the above.

Needed to mail postcards back to the USA. Helpful in buying the necessary stamps in order to mail the cards home.nnBeautiful building.
