This was one of our favorite parts of our Vietnam trip. We essentially got a private tour for our group! We lived biking around and seeing a quieter side or Hoi An. I liked how our tour guide tipped everyone we interacted with along the way, rather than asking us to tip. The boat ride felt a bit touristy with all the dancing and music but in the end was fun. Definitely recommend!

The bike tour to Cam Kim Island was our second favorite experience in Vietnam after Ha Long Bay. Our guide was Emily and she was very nice and knowledgeable, answering all our questions. She met us at the hotel and sent us by taxi to the place where we were picked up the bikes. We braved the traffic for about 5 minutes to the dock where we took a boat across the river to Cam Kim. We cycled around the island and stopped a few times: by a rice field, at the house of a rice wine maker where we got to chat with a war veteran who also played the guitar for us, at a house where sleeping mats were made and finally at the house of a noodle maker where we tried our hand at making and cutting noodles. The weather was great, the locals were genuinely friendly, the landscape beautiful. We loved the tour, thank you Emily for an unforgettable experience. Highly recommended.

I had a chance to exploit other side of Hoi An with cycling tour in Cam Kim village. It was so peaceful by cycling pass rice fields... saw how farmers work. It was interesting to learn how to make sleeping mat, rice wine and make noodle by yourself for your own lunch. Those are such great experiences and I wish I had more time to discover more...

I had an unforgettable ride to Cam Kim island last month. Such amazing tour!!!! Local guide showed us daily life of the villagers, especially their craftmanships. Of course, I tried to make a sleeping match by my hand under good training of so friendly ladies..nActually this was a valuable tour to me at all in Hoi An.
