Hong Leong Bank is listed on the Bursa Malaysia Stock Exchange, a member of Hong Leong Group Malaysia. The merger has helped the Bank become a banking group with more than 145 billion ringgit assets and a network of 329 branches in Malaysia.n nCurrently, Hong Leong Bank has more than 300 branches, sales and business centers in Malaysia, Singapore, Hong Kong and Vietnam and a variety of electronic channels including self-service, Customer Service, Online Banking, Phone Banking and Hong Leong Mobile Banking.n nThe bank is expanding its operations in the region. In mid-2008, the Bank officially became the first Malaysian bank to enter the Chinese banking sector with a 20% strategic stake in Chengdu Bank Limited. In December 2008, the Bank became the first and only bank in Malaysia and Southeast Asia to be licensed and established as a 100% foreign owned commercial bank in Vietnam.
