Canh Lam parish was formed in 1954 by the Forest Landscape Origin laity in the Diocese of the South Pacific migrants settled here. 1958 recognized their hierarchy, to 1965 was officially raised to the Parish Church under county Lac An, Phu Cuong Diocese.
