Great hotel, nice room with a city view and powerful ac, smiley staff and standard asian breakfast served on the 12th floor. Top marks

Convenient location. Near to the river and Han market. A lot of restaurants around.nnBut only gave you very limited supply on shampoo , shower gel and toilet paper.nnThe walls are very thin we can hear the next door Television sound and people are talking.nnLuckily we went down and ask the receptionist to call next door to switch off their TV. Fortunately no more sound. Thanks to the good service on the receptionist.nnThe breakfast are simple but was alright to have a simple breakfast so that we can try the food outside.

This could have been 5 Stars...as we enjoyed the hotel. For the price, the stay was comfortable, room was nice and clean, and breakfast had options (although variety from day to day would be nice). Location is great, too.nnWe stayed for over a week and the problem was that by the end of our stay both myself and my girlfriend felt uncomfortable with the “over-friendliness” of the doorman. He became increasingly touchy and overly excited to see me (whereas he completely ignored my girlfriend to the point of not even greeting her and just coming up to me and touching me). We’ve traveled in Asia for over two years and understand cultural differences, but this was not that. At first it was not a big deal but by the end of our stay, and the increased need to put his hand on my shoulder, lower back and chest, was too much. I made this known in my demeanor and the way I handled any further interaction.nnThere’s a clear line between being friendly and invading one’s personal boundaries. I explained our dissatisfaction to the front desk upon our departure because this type of behavior shouldn’t be allowed by hotel staff.
