OYO 455 Grand Bostand Hotel

I resided in this property for 7 long days and regret each one. The property is situated next to a busy road with the Bay across the street.nnOn arrival my party wasn't greeted professionally by the receptionist and the bellman was completely inebriated. He had the audacity to show me where to retrieve the luggage carrier and once I had placed our four bags on proceeded to help. I simply explained that I'll take my own luggage up.nnOn inspection of the property we walk in our room to a dead roach (I killed a handful during our stay) on the floor, stained bed sheets, mould in the fridge and a dirty floor. The toilet was leaking and when I made housekeeping aware she shrugged her shoulders and walked off.nnWe booked a seaview room with a balcony, to only find out that the balcony is shared with all the hotel guests. They facilitate it at all hours smoking, talking and laughing loudly. The owner lounges around all day and lays on the couch and when asked for assistance provides a defiant attitude as if you are bothering her.nnThe housekeeper never cleaned my room the entire time I stayed here. All she did was put towels in my room, once! I had to request them on a daily basis. She never replace the toiletries or water. I ended up sweeping the floor myself.nnOn Thursday morning at 7:25 am, my party and I was awaken to drilling taking place on top of our head. They are reconstructing the room that is situated right above the room. This did not end until 5:00 pm. Friday, we checked out of the hotel.nnIt is a language barrier. No one can speak or understand fluent English so when communicating we had use Google translation.nnOn exit, the housekeeper was quite intrusive, coming into our room and proceeded to close the curtains while sitting on the chair. She watched as we finished our last bit of items and as we loaded our bags unto the carrier and stayed there until we vacated the room. I was left in awe at her actions.nnI have provided pictures of my time spent at the residence and I would suggest anyone to look elsewhere.

Good. Hotel along the beach. Clean and airy rooms, fully furnished. Spacious security parking. Dedicated staff attentive. There are places to eat at the hotel, clean facilities.

The view is good, the service is ok, but the TV is a bit bad
