A collapsed cathedral, a place with a history of martyrdom, where Catholics must first know the history of martyrdom, so they will not be disappointed.

Hai Duong temple was built in 1927. At that time, it was the largest martyr's shrine in Vietnam. The unique point of the Holy Temple is that it was built on the courthouse where the faithful witnessed the faith, of which four were raised in canon in 1988, the Rector Jerome Liem ), Fr. By 1927, the great shrine was officially built, with a length of 65m, 18m wide, two towers each 30m high, according to Greek-Greco-Byzantine architecture, designed by the French architect Lagisquet.nnIn the morning of July 1, 1967, US planes dropped bombs to destroy the city's railway station, to cut off the Hai Phong-Hanoi railway. Unfortunately, two bombs hit the shrine and destroyed almost completely.

According to historian Vicent Bui Duc Sinh, who served as a priest at Hai Duong parish and was at Hai Duong disciples' school, Hai Duong martyrdom temple was built in 1927. Area 2 nearly 400m² is used to build houses of the service of the Holy Temple. Area 3 over 1,700m², formerly the School of Disciples, is now used to build a new Temple.nThe new temple is expected to be officially opened in December. The project is expected to be built within 2 years.
