Dong Loan Hotel

Tucked away in an alley, you’ll find this gem of a hotel. Hung is an amazing guy, he showed me around the village and it’s surroundings and made sure I felt more than welcome. The home cooked meal we ate was amazing. I had a great time here, thanks again Hung! Hope to see you again!

Clean and comfortable hotel with friendly and helpful host (speaks English). There is secure motorcycle parking making this a good location to break a journey through the mountains. (A good days ride from Phong Nah).nThe room was basic, but clean with air-conditioning and we both slept well. The food was excellent!nI believe you can also arrange tea tours etc... But we did not have time on our trip.

The rooms available on Agoda didn’t match the availability in the hotel, so we payed 350k for a room with two double beds.nThe owner said all the standard double rooms were full, but later that evening we noticed the room next door was unoccupied.nThe beds were the softest beds we have found in a while, which was a welcome surprise!nThe showers were cold both times I tried.nThe family dinner (100k each) was filling and fun to chat with other travelers and the owner, with free rice wine!nFree breakfast is basic, egg and bread with 1/2 sausage.

I was sick and the family was very caring and take care me. Hung(the son) even took me to the doctor and help me translate to describe my symptoms.The hotel is located a bit near ATM, market, mechanic... that was exactly what I needed. So, We loved our stay at Dong Loan Hotel! Such a lovely family, make sure you'll join the family diner! They helped us with everything and we felt very at home ud83dude42

You have Definitely to stop at this hostel if you cross this town. The owner and his family are amazing ! I spend a night with his local friend showing all his typical music instrument , we had so much fun!!!nThe dinner and the breakfast was good .nI slept in the dorm of 4 bed and It was really confortable. I recommend this place 100%!!!!
