The development of online games reflects the development of computer networks, from intranets to the global Internet and the very growth of the Internet. Online games include games, such as coding-based games, to games that incorporate complex graphics and virtual worlds that many gamers can play simultaneously. Many online games are associated with virtual communities, making it a form of social activity that goes beyond ordinary one-player games.
