In the past, the land here was a mudflat called Dong Con. The ancestors were originally from Quan Lieu. Two elders: Daminh Dinh Van Nhuong and the late Daminh Nguyen Van Chi brought their descendants to explore and set up hamlets.nnIn 1905 the stakes were divided into four adjacent parishes: Giap Phu, Giap Quy, Giap Ly and Giap Cuong.nnIn 1923, Dong Con district split into two:nn- Giap Ly and Giap Cuong north of the Landmark River form the Quan Hao family of modern Binh Hai.nn- Giap Phu and Giap Precious South south of the Moc River become Am Sa diocese belonging to Fund Nhat Parish. In the same year, 1923, the predecessors built a simple small cathedral here. But with the rain and wind the old church was no longer usable.nnIn 2005, Father Joseph Hoang Van Tiem separated from Nhat Nhat parish and allowed the demolition of the old church - starting construction of this new church.nnYin and Yin are the echoes of the waves; Sa is the accretion of the sea (all due to the feats God offers).nn- patroness: St. Paul returns to the glass on January 25.nn- Established: February 22, 1923.
